    • MYOB Advanced is a robust Cloud-based ERP solution, based on Acumatica, but designed for Australian and NZ enterprises. The solution is highly scalable so that most businesses can use it and it is ideally suited for growing and more prominent companies. 

  • Who should use MYOB Advanced?

    • MYOB Advanced is designed for businesses that have outgrown their entry-level accounting packages, such as MYOB AccountRight, Xero or Quickbooks. It has various modules to suit lots of industries such as Manufacturing, Construction, Field Services and Professional Services. 

  • How much does MYOB Advanced cost?

  • How secure is MYOB Advanced?

    • MYOB has partnered with Amazon’s data centre in Sydney to offer you the most secure, best-in-class, high available experience. Password policies, Multi-Factor authentication, physical security and network security (such as DDoS & password brute-force detection) all come standard. All data transmitted to and from MYOB Advanced applications is encrypted using the HTTPS protocol. The solution is designed to ensure that only authorised persons can access the information, and it offers role level and data-level security. 

  • How to sign into MYOB Advanced?

    • Navigate to your unique URL provided by your certified MYOB Advanced partner. Enter username and password or contact us to help reset your credentials.

  • How to use MYOB Advanced?

    • MYOB Advanced is a cloud-based ERP solution, that can be accessed online through a web browser. Subscriptions are required and can be obtained from certified MYOB partners only. 

  • How to log into MYOB Advanced?

    • Navigate to your unique URL provided by your certified MYOB Advanced partner. Enter username and password or contact us to help reset your credentials. 

  • MYOB Advanced login?

    • MYOB Advanced is a web-based solution only; thus, it can only be accessed via a web-browsers. Open a web browser and navigate to your unique URL provided by your certified MYOB Advanced partner. Enter username and password or contact us to help reset your credentials. 

  • Does MYOB Advanced have 2-factor authentication (2FA)?

    • MYOB takes security very seriously, and the Advanced product is no exception, 2FA is supported and in fact, required when  using the MYOB Advanced product. 2FA works through most Authenticator apps like Google Authenticator and email tokens. 

  • Can I know which screens have been accessed in MYOB Advanced?

    • You can also setup auditing on any screen in MYOB Advanced and control auditing on access to the screen and events (such as adding, deleting or modifying entities) within a screen. 

  • Where is MYOB Advanced hosted?

    • MYOB Advanced is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). It offers MYOB a strategic partner with world-class cloud IT infrastructure, which provides a high performing, robust and secure application set to make clients’ business life easier.  

  • Where is MYOB Advanced physically hosted?

    • MYOB Advanced is hosted in the AWS Sydney Datacentre which has been in operation since 2012. The Sydney datacentre is the eighth global datacentre and is based on the successful design of other datacentres that stretches back to 2008. For our clients in New Zealand and Australia, this means that your data is regionally hosted and provides the fastest connection times and lowest response times compared to services hosted outside Australia such as the US or Europe. 

  • How safe is my data with MYOB Advanced?

    • MYOB are committed to protecting its client’s data from loss; that’s why all data is stored across multiple devices in multiple availability zones. Databases are replicated in real-time between multiple availability zones. S3 from Amazon is utilised for non-database information. This is all replicated across multiple zones and has guaranteed high availability and redundancy. MYOB has worked with AWS to bring you a platform that has been designed to cope with a potential failure of critical elements necessary to provide the service to its clients. Should an issue arise, most end-users will be transparent to the fact that a failover of one or more elements to the secondary zone occurred.  

  • How will I know who has accessed my MYOB Advanced data?

    • MYOB Advanced has application logging, which keeps an audit of all access to MYOB Advanced so you have the confidence of knowing who accessed your account, when that was and what actions a user performed.  

  • Can I make backups of my data with MYOB Advanced?

    • MYOB Advanced offers out of the box daily backups and is highly secure, but it also provides the customers that would like to take a backup and keep it in another location of their choice. You can even restore a system by using these snapshots. Over and above the snapshot feature, you can also export full data export to Excel. 

  • What is MYOB Advanced DR policy, in the event of a system disaster?

    • Since MYOB uses the AWS infrastructure, multiple Availability Zones can be used. In the event where none of these in Sydney are available, then MYOB can move the hosting to one of the other seven global AWS datacentres. If required backups can be restored for minimal data loss, all of which are dependent on the type of disaster. Contact your MYOB Advanced partner for more information.  

  • Does MYOB Advanced have an API?

  • Can I upgrade from MYOB AccountRight to MYOB Advanced?

    • Yes, many MYOB Advanced customers are those businesses that have outgrown their AccountRight accounting package. As part of the implementation, we will assist with migrating your data over from AccountRight. 

  • How long does it take to implement MYOB Advanced?

    • From as little as one month to as much as six months, but typically this is a 3-month process. The implementation timeframe will depend on resources available and complexity of the chosen solutions stack. 

  • MYOB Advanced Training

    • Training for MYOB Advanced is considered as part of the implementation, and various other training materials are available from Endeavour Solutions. 

  • Add-on's for MYOB Advanced

    • MYOB invests a lot of time into building partnerships with 3rd party software companies who have commercial offerings with best of breed software products.  MYOB works closely with these companies to build interfaces with their products and make these apps available to the MYOB customer base via the MYOB App Marketplace. 

  • MYOB Advanced Support

    • MYOB supports its customers through a certified partner channel. As a certified MYOB Advanced partner, Endeavour offer support throughout Australia and New Zealand.  

  • Where are your support staff located?

    • All Endeavour support staff are highly skilled with many years of experience and certified on the MYOB Advanced product. Our support teams are all based in Australia, and we provide local on the ground support in Melbourne and Sydney   

  • How do I migrate my data from legacy systems to MYOB Advanced?

    • MYOB Advanced allows for data to be imported and exported, and our experienced teams will assist with this transition as part of our implementation process. 

  • Does MYOB Advanced have a Payroll solution?

    • MYOB has invested hugely in MYOB Advanced People. It can be used as a standalone Payroll system or used in conjunction with MYOB Advanced Business. It is STP compliant, automatically refreshes tax tables and comes with employee timesheet capabilities.

  • MYOB Advanced Payroll

    • MYOB has invested hugely in MYOB Advanced People. It can be used as a standalone Payroll system or used in conjunction with MYOB Advanced Business. It is STP compliant, automatically refreshes tax tables and comes with employee timesheet capabilities.

  • Is MYOB Advanced People (Payroll) STP compliant?

    • Yes, MYOB works exceptionally close with the tax agencies such as the ATO to ensure that its software is up to date with the latest legislative requirements. MYOB Advanced People was one of the first Cloud solutions to offer STP compliancy.

  • How does bank feeds work for MYOB Advanced?

    • MYOB is offering organisations the ability to view their bank statements directly in MYOB Advanced through a system called Bank Feeds. For more info watch this Video

  • Can I use MYOB Advanced for CRM?

    • MYOB Advanced has many modules to expand as your organisation grows and truly scales as required. It has a fully featured CRM module with a customer portal, Contract management, Sales Pipeline and easy integration with Office 365 to mention a few. 

  • What is the difference between MYOB Advanced vs Xero?

    • MYOB Advanced is designed for bigger growing businesses with some level of complexity, whereas Xero is designed for a smaller company with more straightforward and basic requirements. As an example, if you are a business with more than 20 employees and perhaps require multi-entity support, financial consolidation, multi-currency or just want a more robust system, then MYOB Advanced is recommended. 

  • What is the difference between MYOB Advanced vs Netsuite?

    • Both these products are designed for the Mid-Market and offer fantastic value for growing businesses. Netsuite tends to be dearer and if you want a more localised product that includes many integrated modules including STP payroll, bank-feeds etc. then MYOB Advanced would be a wise choice.  

  • What is the difference between MYOB Advanced vs Accountright?

    • MYOB offers multiple solutions for businesses of all sizes. MYOB AccountRight is aimed at small customers that only requires an accounting package. MYOB Advanced is built for bigger companies with more complex business process; both are available through a simple monthly subscription and both are MYOB products.  

  • What is the difference between MYOB Advanced vs Exo?

    • MYOB Exo is a traditional on-premise ERP solution that requires additional hardware to be procured or hosted for the product to work. MYOB Advanced is a new breed of Cloud-ERP and is available through a monthly subscription and is accessed via web-browser. 

  • What is the difference between MYOB Advanced vs MYOB Greentree?

    • Both are MYOB Enterprise products. MYOB Greentree is a traditional on-premise ERP solution.  It is typically used for larger business and has a robust financial suite. MYOB Advanced is a new breed of Cloud-ERP and is available through a monthly subscription and is accessed via web-browser.
