NAN Supplies started using MYOB AccountRight for its accounting, which is the norm for Australian SME’s and for many years, it worked just fine. However, as the business grew, so too did the complexities and volume of transactions. Subsequently, more and more finger errors and inefficiencies crept into the business’s day-to-day running. Typical accounting software has many limitations, and NAN soon realised that the way the old software system was set up did not cater for best practice processing and future requirements.
An example of this is that multiple SKUs were used according to units of measurement. This increased the risk of human error in selecting incorrect SKUs. Therefore, corrections had to be made and did not deliver the level of service required to customers.
